Transition to E-Commerce and Wholesale

, a lifestyle brand known for its ocean-themed apparel and restaurants, is closing all U.S. retail stores following a bankruptcy sale, moving towards a wholesale and e-commerce model.

The brand was acquired for $38.74 million by Hilco Consumer-Retail Group and Iconix International after Delta Apparel Inc. filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June.

Liquidation and Future Plans

Liquidation sales began on September 20, with store fixtures, equipment, and merchandise discounted. Salt Life gift cards will be honored through October 19, 2024.

Despite the closures, the Salt Life Food Shack restaurant chain remains unaffected, as it operates separately from the lifestyle brand.
