Recall Details

Anker recalls three power bank models: Anker 334 MagGo Battery (PowerCore 10K, A1642), Anker Power Bank (A1647), and Anker MagGo Power Bank (A1652) due to a manufacturing defect in lithium-ion batteries that may cause overheating and fire hazards.

The recall affects products manufactured between January 3, 2024, and September 17, 2024, with Anker recalling all units "out of an abundance of caution."

Action for Consumers

Owners are advised to immediately stop using the affected power banks, store them in a safe location, and verify their product’s serial number on Anker’s website to initiate the recall process for a replacement.

Anker emphasizes not disposing of the recalled power banks in regular trash or recycling bins, urging consumers to use facilities that accept lithium batteries for safe disposal.
